Dear Colleague,
One of the aims of the IAGG is to dessiminate to international audiences high-level information related to Ageing. So time has come to launch an "Intensive Course on Ageing" intended for students, professionals, researchers and all other actors concerned by aging populations and will feature all disciplines that are involved in major age-related issues. Oral communications will be presented within the framework of 30-minute sessions ans 60-minute workshops during a two-day working session.
The first Course is scheduled from June 30th to July 1st, 2011 at the Institut de l'Envelliment of the Universitat Autonoma de Barcelona, Spain and will treat important topics such as :
- Alzheimer's disease
- Nutrition and Ageing
- Frailty
- Metabolic & Cardiovascular diseases
Course Directors will come from all over the world to present their works. Registration is now open and you can also consult the preliminary program on our website. Please feel free to distribute this information to fellow colleagues from your university, organization, company or health centre for the benefit of all. We look forward to seeing you in Barcelona and thank you for your involvement.
